Spellings

Spellings for the week will appear on this page.  There will be two sets- one which is slightly easier than the other.  It is important that when learning the spellings, children can also use the words in a sentence.  This is a great way of practising them.

Your child can practise all of the spellings or one of the sets.  In class, they will be exposed to both sets as this worked very well last term for the children in school.

Spelling tests will be on a Thursday.  This is a no pressure test. Whilst we are delighted when children do well in their test, the most important thing is that they then spell that word correctly when they use it in their writing.

I can email copies of the spellings if you require them.
